The Kabbalah Collection

The Sefirot - The Tree of Life

For me, the Kabbalah Collection is a natural extension of my Enlightenment series. The source images are from the numerous synagogues found in Prague. Each piece is named after the synagogue where the source image was taken. The vibrant colours and complex geometries speak of the ancient traditions and knowledge found in these historical places of worship. The individual pieces can be assembled as per the viewer’s preference to construct a personalized Tree of Life, the Sefirot being the 10 emanations or attributes by which the Infinite reveals itself. Each orb can represent a specific attribute in the tree.
